With passion and patience

With over 14 years of teaching experience, Yen provides private lessons on piano, flute, violin and music theory. She enjoys teaching all ages and at all levels, whether for fun or in preparation for exams or competitions. She aims at inspiring and encouraging students, exploring their musical talents, developing their musical sense and educating them how to appreciate music of different genres.

Yen teaches piano with Kawai Grand Piano GE-30. For flute and violin lessons, Yen provides piano accompaniment in daily lessons so as to give students more experience in playing in duet and help them build up a greater sense of musicianship, which is one of the important aspects in musical training.

Oscar(6 years old) and Kingsley (4 years old) learn piano and violin with Yen. Oscar is such a talented pupil that he started learning the violin for only 6 months and passed ABRSM Grade 2 violin exam with distinction! The two brothers is going to study in Sydney soon! All the best to them!
